The cheap laptop was created, not for people in America, but to act as a tool to help teach students in poorer countries. It'll allow them to use key computer featuers without the schools having to pay over $1000 in American money per laptop.

I had an updated anti-virus on there, something still might have gotten through. You're right, it probably is an OS problem, but that's what it came with. And all that freeware crap it came with is just plain annoying.I shouldn't have to reformat anything for something to work. The best way for me to describe how I feel is:Dell is like a house, and a shitty OS is like a group of crack heads living in it.
