And I love Brandon Lee in the Crow, and I love the graphic novel that inspired it. BUT, the Character of Batman, while enjoyable in the Dark Horse fashion( and a few of the villians even more so ), is NOT Batman. The only thing I've seen in the new franchise that works is 'Scarecrow', and HE gets practically NO face time. And the whole Joker/The Crow thing just comes off as cheap, unimaginative, and a total rip-off. So far, in the film realm at least; Jack is still the man.

Uhm, yes it does...And don't get me wrong, I actually like parts of the 60's TV-show, but like Frank Miller said: "The worst thing they did in that show is giving Batman a badge. You don't deputise Batman!"

Cause everyone had fantastic manners in those days; Batman needs his sleep too, so the criminals only broke out during the day. They were also kind enough to only break out one at a time so Batman only had to chase one of them down. Shucks, those guys were so nice to Batsy.
