They are merely "Pretending" to be the gender they want to be, but in reality will never be that gender. As for being ignorant I believe you are so. For "they should have been born as" they were born to what they should be by their DNA. They may think in their minds they should be the opposite gender, when in reality they need help like nsantolick pointed out SHE had lots of psychological stress growing up. SHE is a SHE regardless of hormone treatment. That is being RATIONAL AND LOGICAL.
