So sad to hear of Jo's passing.I have always loved her singing.I am a Hank Williams fan,but I think Jo Stafford sang this song better.All tho I like them both.Thank you for posting these treasures.

I am so sorry, to hear of Jo's death---she will be greatly missed!!!! I have loved her for years (and I am under 40) What a talent, unlike today when so much is horrible!!!!

Gerry and the Pacemakers recorded Jambalaya as a B-side in 1964 (it's on their first and second US LP releases). That's where I first heard it.
