the only reason dark knight got some much hype was because ledger died, and the critics that loved the movie turned him into some kind of martyr and leaked it to the media

the joker is the most psychotic villain ever in the history of villains

It's anarchy, a life without rules. The Joker is perhaps the only truly liberated soul in Gotham. Living completely without borders, for the shear visceral pleasure of anarchy. He as he says just "does things" with a coldly calculating genius. One of the most truly frightening villains ever conceived.

joker's actions make sense to him and to him alone. only in the mind of someone insane

Joker didn't confuse the locations, in my opinion. It's his way of thinking. He likes seeing what people will do. Kinda like a Psychotic Social Scientist. He gave the people on the boats a choice whether or not to kill eahc other, Batman a choice one who to save and whether or not to turn himself in. Either way someone would have died. If that makes any sense.

I think that the whole thing was a test. The Joker doesn't seem to lose his cool whether he's in pain or not. But if you listen to the way he laughs at the Batman when he sees how angry he is becoming it almost makes me think that he knows who the Batman is simply because of who Batman got the most upset about. He knew that whoever Batman was he had a relationship with Rachel which is why he gave the wrong directions, it was an attempt to push Batman over the edge. |
